I thought I should introduce myself before I write anything else. My name is Brenna. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. I have done some personal training but my real passion for exercise is in running. I started running in high school when I was on the track and field team. After high school I went on to run multiple races: 5Ks, half-marathons, marathons. During my last marathon, I ended up qualifying for the Boston Marathon. I am a brand new mom to a very cute baby boy named Lukas (hence the name of my website). He keeps me very busy and is a lot of fun. Since I got pregnant, my running has drastically gone down and it is hard to get back into it with a different body, different responsibilities. I decided to write a blog about my journey because I’m sure that I am not the only one that has or is going through this journey and I hope to be able to motivate and help others get back into (or start) running.
